Hello! I’m Ana Luciano-Fernandez,
but you can call me Ana Lu!
I’m a Filipina illustrator, educator, and art director.
At age 4, I discovered my love for art when I randomly drew on the walls of my grandparents’ living room.
Since then, I kept drawing the things I loved as a little girl, especially themes of childhood dreams, escapes, and wonder. I enjoy creating intricate work through line art, ink, watercolor, embroidery, and any tool I can get my hands on.
More than anything, I love sharing my creativity through projects that involve women’s empowerment and education. I’ve had the opportunity to work with brands including Google Philippines, Uniqlo, Lactacyd, National Book Store, Preview and more.
I’m also a member of Ang Ilustrador ng Kabataan (Ang INK), the Philippines’ first and only organization dedicated to children’s illustration and She Talks Asia, a women empowerment community and impact agency.
